i need help! im trying to downgrade from win2k pro to win98. i have already reformatted my drive from ntfs to fat32, and win2000, as far as i can tell, is totally gone. but whenever i try to boot from a win98 installer cd, it tells me: "NTLDR is missing. Press any key to restart." why is it looking for NT loader?!? NT is gone!

The ntldr msg is coming from the HD boot sector.
Try:
sys c: fdsik /mbr
If not joy, remeove / recreate FAT32 partition and format.

If at first you don't succeed, you're about average.
