Off97 running on win2k. If I double click on a file through the network, which resides on another PC, Word opens however the file is opened twice within it, giving a message that the file is already open and asking if I want a copy. If I say yes and I look under windows, in effect there are two windows with a copy of the file in each.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Ian

I had this problem.

I downloaded the 2 service packs and it sorted it out.

Hope this helps
