I want to set up Win2K so that by default, DOS programs do not automatically close the DOS window when they exit. I have looked in the Win2K help, no luck.

Any Ideas

If you initalize a CMD prompt from the command line or a script, use the /k option to carry out the command specified by string but remains. (remains means do not exit DOW window)

use cmd /? for a list of omamnds

Look for _default.pif in the WINNT directory, rightclick>properties>program tab> uncheck the close on exit box.
