I am running a DOS app, in win 2000, that uses a Graphic window. It runs fine until I switch to a windows task. The DOS app freezes after switching to a windows app and only when switching from the DOS graphic window (full screen default). The app is launched from a shortcut that uses a PIF to call the following config.sys:

DEVICE=C:\HDS\DRIVERS\IBMVGA12.SYS /G:CRT
DEVICE=C:\HDS\DRIVERS\MSMOUSE.SYS /G:MSE
DEVICE=C:\HDS\DRIVERS\GSSCGI.SYS
FILES=50
BUFFERS=80

Any Ideas?

Dave

You can run a DOS application in Graphic Mode ONLY full screen sized under Windows NT/2K/XP.

That is the rule and there is no workaround as DOS graphic mode is not supported in a NT window. So the application freezes when you switch to another task and resumes only when the full screen is restored.
