Hello

I have written this DOS script but it gives me the error "The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction. CS:054c IP:0103 OP:63 6f 20 6f"

If I run command prompt and type in the lines one by one they all work but if I put them into a TXT document and rename the .txt to .com and run it I get this error

Dos anyone know what I am doing wrong ?

Code is here………..

cd\

md bginfo

net use k: \\itmel\files\bginfo

k:

copy standard.bgi c:\bginfo

copy bginfo.exe c:\bginfo

cd c:\documents and settings\all users\start menu\programs\startup

c:

copy bginfo.lnk

net use k: /delete /y

Try renaming it to .bat, instead of .com.

LOL - Impressive that Rodney could write a 'DOS script' yet did not know it was a BAT file.
