Dos exe files are not woring on win

I have some DOS EXE files.They are working fine on WIN 98.But not on WIN 2000..Can you please let me know How to fix... I tried the following :
1) Increase environment space allowed for DOS programmes Edit c:\winnt\system32\config.nt Add line: shell=%systemroot%\system32\command.com /e:32768 But did not work.
2) Somebody asked to : Try right clicking the executable and select compatibility, then set run as Win 98.I am not getting this option...

Well, your first problem is that Win2K is not DOS based, and 98 is, so DOS programs arent great fun to run in it. All Win2K has is a DOS emulator, not real dos. So its easiest to just keep DOS out of Win2K.
