Hi, I am unable to run commands in dos like telnet and ping, etc, I can navigate dir's and the like but when I try and ping for eg. I get the error : 'ping' is not recognised as an internal or external command, operable probram or batch file....the strange thing is I can run these directly from the 'run' box, anyone know how to fix this? Cheers

Not too sure what you are looking for, but most DOS commands are run from the DOS window when you type "CMD" in the "run" box that brings up the DOS window. Hope this helps
