dos command to list # of processor

Hi all, Need to know if there is a command dos that list the processor running on the machine. Thanks

Look at the environment variable NUMBER_OF_PROCESSORS

Its set automatically by the system.

Note: If your system supports hyperthreading, and hyperthreading is on, it will report 2 processors for every 1, as that's how hyperthreading works.

so the command is SET at a cmd prompt.
