Hi, In windows 2000 pro, in document and settings, is it normal that one user can access another user's profile and copy or delete files? How to prevet it? thank you

If the user is in the Administrators group, this is normal. You will have to change the user to the Power User group. Then they should only be able to access their own profile.

As Mike suggested, this is true, but only if the hard drive is formatted in NTFS. If the drive is formatted in FAT32 or 16, there is no local folder and file security- everything is free access. Check the properties of the hard drive, and it will tell you what file system it is. To convert FAT file system to NTFS, from a command prompt type:
