Apparently POSIX Support is used on all US Government operating systems as an 'government standard'. I'm told POSIX Support can be removed and increase overall system performance of your PC. Sounds good to me, below are instruction on how to remove POSIX Support. To remove POSIX Support - Enter your C:\winnt\system32 folder and rename OS2.exe, OS2SS.exe, and POSIX.exe to OS2.xxx, OS2SS.xxx, and POSIX.xxx, now the next time you reboot POSIX Support will be disabled.
Goto http://www.whatis.com/posix.htm for an explanation on what POSIX is. (I don't believe for a second that renaming these executables increases performance at all)
Summary: Hey, I got this message today when i started my computer. "Your password is going to expire in 13 days, do you want a change it" What does it mean?? and Why???...
