I have a laptop, and when I go to control panel and then display to change the resolution (currently 800x600) but I cant make it any higher. I also can't change the color away from 16 colors. This has been making a bunch of problems for me because I cant go to many websites, or run programs.

Any help?

You need to install the video drivers. Go to the laptop manufacturer's website and enter the model number to find the video drivers. If you have re-installed Win2000 you may need to install additional drivers to gain full use of your hardware.
