Hi,

I am getting frequently DISK ERROR .. Press Ctrl+ Alt+ Del to restart while booting the windows 2000 pro system. I have tried to repair using windows 2000 CD. But still i couldn't solve the problem. If i do reformat the disk and install OS freshly then only it is working. Is this problem with my hard disk or Virus ? Please help me to solve this problem...

Thanks,
Bala.

hi Bala,

You can start saving money because your harddrive is busy giving the ghost.

It won't be long and you will start getting that message again.

If you work with important info backup...

Cheers
John

Run the Scandisk utility to find and repair errors on the drive.

You can also download a repair tool from the manufacturer of the Hard Drive. It will repair the drive to new condition and should make things work the way they were intended.
