Hi, Suddenly, overnight, none of my disk drives(except for my hard drives)will read a disk! They worked yesterday because I used them. I connected an external hard drive (USB) yesterday and made a backup of my hard drive -- using Acronis true image. Could that have anything to do with it? I have tried several cds and the drives will not recognize them. The message is D:/ not accessable wrong function. This happens on all the disk drives(3 of them-a cd reader, a dvd reader/writer, cd reader/writer. All the other drives--floppy drives(2)and flash cards work fine. Anything I can check on to fix this?

NEVERMIND I uninstalled NeroInCD and everything went back to normal. I installed it yesterday to format a CD. I don understand the connection to the problem but it's okay now.

If you have other CD burning software such as Easy CD creator on your system it may have caused a conflict.
