Disk Boot Failure

The last two days I had a problem with my computer. Every time I turn it on it restarts by itself. It doesn't matter what program I'm using or if I just leave it on. I restarts constantly. Today I turned it on and got an error 'Disk Boot Failure, insert system disk and press enter'. I restarted it and it booted fine. Does anyone have an idea why it keeps restarting and does it have anything to do with the error?? Help

Sounds like you might have some form of virus. Are you running good AV software, and are the signatures up to date?
If that's not the problem, check for drivers. There might be an errant driver installed somewhere. Remember: Just because Micro$oft says they have a new driver for your hardware, doesn't mean it will work. I installed their new driver for my Matrox card, and had to rebuild the system.
Good luck...

What you may have is a bootsector issue. at the command line try this "fdisk /mbr"
