Ok I have a problem. Whenever I try to disable write protect in the trouble shooting menu on my control panel the enable write protect tab box switches on. And if I take both of them off they will still work cooperatively. Anyway to permanently take it off ? I have a USB drive which wont let me delete my files unless I disable write protect. But like I said if I try to take it off its still on. So any help ? Thnx.

If you are talking about the small USB key drives then
check to be sure the lock tab is off.

I dont believe mine has one. Its just a regular USB drive that you can only stick in the comp. I've never had this problem before. Isnt there someway to take the lock off with my USB in the computer ?
