Disabling CD Autorun in W2K

Can anyone tell me how to disable the autorun feature in Win 2000 final release.
I have a CD Writer which prefers auto insert notification to be off.

change "autorun" to 0 (zero)

Thanks for your help. It's odd that it isn't a choice anywhere obvious as in 95 and 98.
Still should sort it.

it's true and s$# on win 9X we can remove the autostart by the hardware propriete ...
also,you can use twaek iu and other kill registry software...or fix it utilities is the first utilities software for win2k and they are an cdstart option.....(expensive!)
