Does anyone know of a best practices suggestion for directory structures for organizations?? I am trying to implement a directory structure that will be followed organization wide to help make my life easier for permission/security.

Thanks,

Eric

Use OU's to reflect your companies functions or geographical locations. Don't assign permissions to individual users, use groups instead. Be extra carefull with DENY permission - use it only if nessesary. Make sure Domain Controllers, DHCP, DNS, WINS are fault tolerant. Use sites to logicaly group resources in your network in order to reduce traffic accross WAN etc etc.
