I am running Windows 2000 Advanced server and in an attempt to test video rendering, i ran into a problem with direct draw. When testing direct draw from the DXDIAG utility the error occured: "An error occured while setting your display to 640x480 with 16bit color." After clicking ok my video sets it's mode to something below 256 colors. Because of this trouble anytime I use windows media player, the error "no direct draw support" occurs and the program terminates. Can someone please help me? I have a Voodoo 5 agp am running directx 8.0 and am using SP1.
