Going to mycomputer does not show my camera.

camera is a Canon XTi---- software is the packaged disc called digital solutions............

Select your operating system (Win2000) & download/install the appropriate software:

... click the link below, wait as it takes awhile to load.

... then were it says "Select OS"

... choose "Windows 2000"

... wait again as the page loads.

...then click on "PTPTWN13.exe"

which is "PTP TWAIN Driver 1.3.0 for Windows 98 SE/Windows 2000"

... next click "I agree begin download"

... the file is 8.8MB and should download

... once downloaded click it and go through
the install process.

Keep in mind, when installing USB devices, in most cases you install the software/drivers first, then plug in the device.

If you didn't do it that way the first time, uninstall the software/drivers and redo them with the camera unplugged.
