I have a laptop that I´m using both at home and at the office, The thing is that i need diffrent ip adresses, gateways and proxies when I´m at home or at the office
I´m running win2k prof

of course....... im sure your connecting through dial-up at home, or dsl or(my point is that it is not gonna go through the same proxy, and same gateway, and same subnet and so forth as you would at your office, your office has its own settings and leases from a certain provider, just as you do at your house (which would be through your isp). youre question was kinda unclear, but i think you were asking is there a need in the diff. proxies and so forth, and the ans. would be yes.
