My Dial up connection to my ISP uses a script to login, but i cant seem to be able to save the password. Win2k adds some stuff to the password strings makeing it bigger and i have to type in the password everytime i need to login,THIS SUCKS
Anyone know how to solve this problem

When you bring up the dial-up networking connection window after a successful connection, it will always show the maximum number of "*"s (15 I think). Microsoft did this for security reasons. If you are using a script to connect, it will put other things in--and I don't know the specifics to make it work correctly. If you have a legal copy of W2K Pro, you can call Microsoft for free for 90 days from the day your first register. Why not go to the horse's mouth--for FREE?

I have also found that the save password feature does not work. I have a .scp script that automatically logs in. The script WORKS. I can type in my password, and it logs in correctly. If I click the save password box, then the next time I log in, it does not work, the password has been saved as an empty string, and obviously my password is NOT an empty string. I have no intention of calling up microsoft tech support, as I have had experience with this, and as anyone knows who has ever called them up, they are totally useless. Trust me, if Microsoft Tech Support was the least bit useful, I wouldn't be posting a message here!

Does anyone have an example of a script that can be executed to do an unattended ISDN connection?
Any help will be gratefully received.
Cheers,
Jason
