Windows 2000 advanced server Dial-in troubles
I have Internet sharing enabled on the network interface card for the cable
modem.
I have users set up on the server that allows the other computers (win98) to
access the server
via my home network thou the hub to the server using tcp/ip, I can access
the Internet with no problem from the win98 computers, I can also see all my
shared directories with no problem.
When I go to a remote location using win98 and dial-in to the win2000
advanced server using a regular modem, I can see all my shared directories
also. But while connected to the win2000 advanced server via modem, I run msie on
the remote win98 computer, I cannot access the Internet.
I have tried turning on rras (routing and remote access server) and that did
not help. What do I need to do on the server to make the remote win98 computer that is dialed into
the server, so it will be able to access the Internet via the cable modem?
