I'm not sure if this has come up before as this is a problem several of my friends have had with win2k.
When dialing up any ISP i just get an error after trying the user name and password saying cant connect. and I can see no reason why is shouldn't, its not hardware, or ISP problems its with win2k.
I had win2k installed as an upgrade and had a few probs getting the dial up to work when after setting it up about 3 times it just suddenly worked. this was fine for about 3 months until it just stoped working. I've done several compelte installs with no success.
+ the password is always disguised as longer than it really is, is this right?
