OS: windows 2000, no SP
CPU/Ram: 300, 196

Hi,

does anyone if/how I can configure a user profile on win 2000 in which the DialUp Internet connection is available for the mail client to check pop accounts, whereas the any other program (e.g. a browser) doesnt get access to the net at all?

Hi.
Go into Outlook express,Tools,General
now tick. Send and receive messages at startup. now go to the send Tab, and tick Send messages Immediately. Now go to the connections Tab, Now tick hang up after sending and receiving. Hope this is what you are looking for. Have a nice day.
