I had DHCP on a NT4.0 server subnet 40.0 Moved DHCP to a W2K server. Now when someone tries tomve from 40.0 to 43.0 subnet or vice versa. DHCP will not assign a new address on the new subnet. Any thoughts????

you need to bridge the subnets with a DHCP relay agent. Note: the agent can't be on a DHCP server. Here is a good article on it: http://www.microsoft.com/technet/treeview/default.asp?url=/technet/prodtechnol/windows2000serv/reskit/tcpip/part2/tcpch04.asp

I installed a DHCP relay on the other subnet from the DHCP server. Did not work. Let me clarify, using wireless cards going from a wired subnet to a wireless subnet. DHCP looks like it is giving a valid address, however the login script does not run and cannot ping any other address except oneself.

check your router. It must be able to forward the DHCP info. Some routers are not able to do this.

It doesn't have to forward DHCP info if you are using a relay agent.
