Aight heres the dealy. I have a 2.5 Ghz satalite connection... it's been over a year since i've had to setup a server for anyone and wut i'm doing here for the most part is really simple so i know i'm missing a radio button or sumthing here....

What i'm doing is setting up internet through the power system for this building and because the hardware this dood bought is linksys i have no choice i have to run a server.. it wont run off a switch.

this is the order of the network connect from the Dish to my server.

Dish > Cisco router > 5 port switch > router (dhcp disabled) > My server.

So i got a dynamic ip then staticized it for the "external" Nic on my server. The internal Nic runs the DHCP server for the powersystem internet. (internet through the plug in the wall.)

HERES THE CATCH
I got an ip with my USB client adapter but i am not getting a gateway. What the heck am i missing here???

Anything else i should be aware of?
