Could somebody please tell me my why - after I have uninstalled all Creative Software on my PC - I still have devldr32.exe starting up? I thought that devldr32.exe was a SB Live Driver of some sort but even after uninstalling all things Creative I still have the devldr32.exe wreaking havoc with my PC especially on start up (takes a while to start up) and shut down (hangs everytime on shutdown even after it allows me to kill devldr32.exe). Any ideas as to how I can get it from starting up other than renaming the file?
BTW - I noticed that I still have a service called Creative Service For CD-Rom Access that still gets automatically started up and I was wondering if somebody could tell me how to uninstall it?

Best, and most reliable way of getting rid of all those ghosts is to just format and reinstall Windows 2000. Other than that you can try stopping services, removing programs from the start menu, renaming files, etc.. but make sure you back everything up first.....

This behavior can occur because the Creative Labs driver Devldr is not compatible with Windows 2000.
To resolve this behavior, try removing the Devldr driver and then disable the Devldr service.
