I have updated my system from Win 95 - Win 98 - Win ME and got the following problem: Aftre rebooting, two diskette devices are reconised, diskette A: and diskette B:, but have only one diskette device "Mats---a LS120 Ver4 06". My problem is that the system affect the drive A: to the non-existing device and B: to my existing device.
How could I solve this conflict?

I think you are lucky that the system even starts. :-) Upgrading from one system to another rarely works correctly, but to go from 95,98 and the ME if flurting with disaster. You nay be in for some major problems ahead. Your registry is a mess.

I would try downloading new controllers from either your mobo company or from the chipset company that makes the controllers, i.e. Via, Ali, Intel or whomever. Your controllers are out of date for ME.

OR, I would format and install ME clean. Again making sure you have the new controllers in hand.

Good luck.
