Hi, umm, recently I've been having some troubles with my desktop; it's all greyed out as if I were in the "Shutdown..." menu, like so:
I've tried restarting and such, but it persists! I logged onto my dads account on the computer, and it's not affected there..
Also, when I go to the shut down screen, my previous wallpaper appears instead of the one I have up right now. This also happens when I am logging into my account as well.

You need to log into the machine as local administrator, delete or better rename your profile under Documents & settings and try logging back in as yourself, since your Father's login is still OK it clearly points to a corrupted profile.

That didn't seem to work... well, I guess it does, but I don't really want to re-do all my settings! I don't think it's corrupt; I accidentally did something while in the process of shutting down, like close iTunes or something like that. Then it just froze like that?
