Help Please! I clicked on my briefcase icon on my desktop. It opened up briefcase and than I get this error: Explorer Has Generated Errors And Will Be Closed By Windows! So when it went to close it just kept my desktop with all my icons going on and off and I can't seem too stop it. Did a reboot but my desktop keeps flashing on and off with all my icons?

Try this:
press <Alt><Ctrl><Delete>, click on "Task Manager", select "Proceses" and terminate "Explorer". Then go to "Applications", click on "New Task", type "explorer" (without brackets), and press <Enter>.
See if that helps

First of all Thanks for trying too help me Dennis. I tried what you said but my desktop still won't stop going on and off. The only way I'm able to get in the Internet is by being fast enough to click on my Internet icon by my start task bar. It's weird but it just keeps going on and off since I first got that error when I clicked on my briefcase icon. Than Explorer.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows.Once it closed my desktop and opened back up it hasn't stop closing and opening.I'm at the point of just re-installing my operating system to get my pc under control. Plus I've tried too do a repair and that didn't work using my repair disk and Windows CD.

Maybe Tweak UI will repair your icons. Download, run tweakui.exe, extract all files, right click tweakui.inf, select 'install'. Go to control panel, click TweakUI, Click Repair, select repair Icons. Hope this helps.
