Hello,
I have my W2000 computer networked will all of my other computers that are running W98, and everything is fine with one exception...
I have the W2000 Desktop folder as being shared, yet none of the items on the Desktop appear; other than .txt files. As a matter of fact, in the W2000 explorer, it's the same deal. I'm brand new to this W2000 stuff, and I'm hoping that there's any easy solution. Please feel free to e-mail me, and thanks.

hi if you were looking to see my computer and internet explorer and stuff...you are not gonna see any of those....you are only gonna see text files and shorcuts you have

It aslo depends on which desktop folder you are looking at. At the minimum you should have 4 different ones.
you will have one for - Administrator All Users Default User the user that's logged on.
