Hello,
So yeah, after I fixed my previous cpu hogging problem this comes it, it just never ends. I noticed my cpu usage was sitting at 100% constantly so I shut down the computer and restart it only to find that the task bar and desktop wouldn't load.
Now, I've looked through the forums done what was asked before but to no luck. I scanned with norton and found a trojan here and there, rid myself of it, deleted the spyware using ad-aware, did an undo with the RegClean utility I used yesterday but to no luck. Thanks for your time.

Oops, forgot to mention a few things, like the many other victims, I can bring up the task manager with CTRL + ALT + DEL and open explorer. I also tried to open C: in the task manager as another person did but no luck. Thanks again

You said you're able to open Task Manager. What processes seem to be using the most memory?

To make matters worse, my hard drive space is being eaten up... 13 gigs went to 80 megs. I dont know if they're related or not, all I know is that my computer has a problem and I have some projects to finish by today so I'm vulnerable to every virus possible, sigh what a day.

You have another virus. Now it sounds like the Nimda virus.
Get a removal tool for that also and then get some regular protection.

Could be.
Two places where you can get really good specific removal tools are: www.symantec.com
And www.bitdefender.com.
They have tools that will find things that the normal virus programs miss. Can't hurt and it's good to have extra tools just in case.
