I have Win98 on my C:\ and Win2000 on my D:\. With Win2000 on, I was cleaning my keyboard and accidentally hit some key that made all the desktop icons disappear. Rebooting didnt help. I turned it on today and they were stil gone. I went to Web Settings and turned off Active Desktop, AND THERE THEY WERE, but i cant use my wallpapers WITHOUT Active Desktop enabled. Similar thing on Win98, but icons dont disappear like Win2000. If i enable Active Desktop, the screen turns to my wallpaper and the icons are gone. HELP ME OUT HERE PLEASE. ITS VERY ANNOYING.

Right click the desktop,(When active Desktop is enabled). Click Active Desktop. There should be an option "Show Desktop Icons". Click that. Please send me an e-mail telling me if it worked. If it doesn't work I will tell you another way.
