If I understand what you are asking, go to WIndows Explorer,Control Panel, click on "System" and there will be a "Network" tab where you can name or rename your PC.

Hey just found it. They did put it in a funny place. Open up your administrateve tools in the control panel, and start up Computer Management. In the left window pane right-click the top icon named "Computer Management (Local)" and choose Properties It'll open up a window that looks a lot like the system properties window, but only has 3 tabs, and won't show your oem logo. Go to the Network Identification tab and there'll be a field that you can enter a computer description.
