Awhile back I bought a Dell Latitude LM to use for school work. It seemed to run great. One night, it got a little wet, and wouldn't start up again. I dryed it all out, and the next moring it was working fine again. Then, it went into lapses where it woun't work, and then it would work. It always seemed that when I closed the LCD cover it would die. I don't think it's a power problem, because when I connect the plug or the battery a little green LED lights up on the LCD cover. However, on the little LCD status pannel on the base, it doesn't register any power/battery or anything else. WHen it was in it's laspes, I would know if it was working by seeing one of those indicators showing up on the screen. Although, that hasen't happened in a long while (though the green light still comes on. I would really like if I could get it working again...ANYTHING you could tell me would be very much appreciated!! THANKS!!

if it got a "little" wet, you may have to get it repaired. possible problems: motherboard,,videocard
i spilled a LARGE glass of water, and had to shell out 500 bucks to get the thing fixed. why? becuase i shelled out $1200 for a new notebook, had it for FOUR days to be exact, and water spillage.
