Deleting user profiles

I recently re-installed win2000 over itself and I am left with a couple of old user profiles that I don't use. Can I safely delete these folders?

Old user profile can be deleted without problems. The install program of w2k had reinstalled new profiles with other names. Be sure that you delete the old ones!
