Deleted Profile

I deleted the My documents under the administrator profile. It is not in the recycle bin, is there any other way to get this folder back?

System restore monitors that folder, so it should bring it back. Do it now before you lose anything else :S

There are plenty of third-party programs that restore deleted data. You could Google "File restoration" or something similar.

Don't use the machine (or power it off) until you get a chance to attempt the data restoration.

Two recommendations:

1. DON'T login with the default Administrator account unless absolutely necessary.

2. NEVER store data in a user profile.

Life's more painless for the brainless.

Oops. I thought this was a Windows XP issue. No, system restore is not present in that system.
