Good evening Gentlemen;
I have a problem I hope you can help me with. I was doing some disk maintanence on my sons computer, which I built about 2 years ago. It has 4 partitions, c,d,e,f, with F being the apps partition. After defragging all of the partitions I now find that F is unaccessible and shows no file format in the disk management pane. So of course no programs will run as F is declared unaccessible. Chkdsk won't even work. Any ideas? I can restore that partition from a backup from last January. Thanks for any help you can give.
Sincerely,

Chris Lewis

What does computer managment report? Are the drives dynamic or logical disks? The best thing in your scenario would be to restore the last good backup.

What maintenance did you perform? Be specific.

Oh come on Jennifer, sounds like you have the solution (and we "guys" have to ask too many questions to formulate a solution... ;) )
