Comment:

I have a network computer where people can login and I want to setup a certain printer for everyone who logs in to print to. But everytime someone new logs in, they don't see that printer. I was wondering how I can setup a printer for everyone at that computer?

Thanks

You must set the printer up as a Local Printer.
Do not let the computer auto-detect the printer.
Use "Standard TCP/IP Port" as the port.
Type in IP address of printer.
Of course, you will need to install the printer drivers on that computer also.

If the printer is networked on a server with TCPIP, the user can right click on network neighborhood, choose find computer, type in the name of the server and find the printer they need. Right click on it and choose connect. It will connect it to the user. It will stay with the user's win2k profile on that PC. Each user has their own in win2k, not like win98 where everyone saw the same desktop, same printers, etc. (When the user chooses connect - drivers are pulled from the server)
