(De)Activating secondary monitor

Hi there!
I'm using Windows2000 with dual monitors. Since some games I play go silly if I start them with both monitors activated, I have too deactivate the secondary monitor before playing those games, and reactivate it afterwards.
The normal way is to go into the display properties and perform the change.
The question is: Is there a way to make a link to some dll with some parameters (I know there are such links to e.g. restart the computer) wich (de)activates the secondary monitor?

I don't know but I have the same issue. Your idea is a good one though and probably not that hard to do. I'll look around.
Good question.

Hi!
Good to see that I am not the only one with that problem.
I had a little look into the WinAPI. There are functions (GDI) that can access multiple monitor systems, but I cannot figure out how to (de)activate a specified monitor. I'm not at all a VB or C guru though, maybe somebody who really know what he does can help us here ;)
I also tried monitoring the registry while (de)activating one monitor, but I did not receive any usable information... Even if such info could be retrieved, the settings have to be applied somehow, too.
