DDE Server Window not responding

Comment:
I have recently started getting application lockups for no apparent reason. When I kill the hung application, it will not start again until I reboot. Prior to rebooting, I get the message:

"DDE Server Window not responding"

Last time, I was running my mail client (pocomail), IE, and Adobe Photoshop - a combination that has presented no problems in the past despite Adobe's thirst for system resources. Problem appears to be worse now that Trend Micro Internet Security 2005 has been installed. Has anyone else identified a reason for this or a solution? MS, Technet, and other forums haven't provided any help.

Any help is much appreciated.

Many thanks,
Scott
