Hello all,

I had a domain under win2k, and i wanted to change the server for a new computer.

So i make the second computer a DC.

I transfered all from the first one tio the new one, but now, i have to depromote the old one to delete it from the domain, but i can't !!

when dcpromo search for the new.domain.com computer, it say "network path not found"...

and it's true, i can acces the computer by "\\new", but not by "\\new.domain.com", and i can't acces the domain by "\\domain.com"...

Can anyone help me to resolve this name problem ??

PS : all computers are in static IPs, and all work fine....
