When I try to open Access 97 database by double clicking on the file I get the following error:
db1.mdb is not valid Win32 application

So what happens when you open Access97 and then go open that file???

Thank you.
I can open. No Problem. The file has associate program as MS Access.

You need to re-establish the file association:

Press shift key (keep it pressed), Single right click the mouse button on that file>Select "open with". Select Access and check "always use this program to open these files.
