I'm having problems with csrss.exe running at 100% CPU. Can anyone give me any help as to what's causing this? It started after I installed some software, and I assume this is causing it - could it be a conflict with windows? Can anyone tell me what this exe does? All I know is that it's the 'Client Server Request Sub System'...

Try uninstalling the software you loaded and see if it reverts back.
