C++runtime error in Internet explorer

When I try to open Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher I get a Runtime error Visual C++ Runtime Library C:programs\internetexplorer\explorer
I click "OK" and the program closes

Yeah i know what the problem is. Go into Internet Explorer and then go to Tool---Internet OPtions----Advanced. There should be a check box called "Disable Script Debugging" tick that. Also make sure that you have Java Viertual Machine enabled. If u dont u can download it off the Microsoft Site. That should work. If it doesnt re-install IE 5.0 or obtain a copy of six. I'm running a Compaq Deskpro EX/P733 with Windows 2000 and IE 6.0, I had that problem when running IE 5.0 but do what I said and it should work. Good Luck.
