I have a server that I am trying to image using PXE Boot. I can easily creaste the images, but it's applying that image is where I have issues. Let me explain.

The Server has a JBOD 2 SCSI 9 Gb drives. drive0(C:), and drive1(E:). The CDROM is drive D:. This is the problem I have in pushing the image onto a rebuilt machine. The image it pushes has two partitions that come out as C:, and D:.

This being the case it is unable to utilize the CDROM, or the second partition where all of my DataBase files are. I need to know how it is that I can specifiy the partitions being pushed to C:, and E:, so everything will work after the image is pushed?

Any assistance is much appreciated. Thanks in Advance.

Jeff

Simple. Reassign d: to r: in disk manager for the cdrom. Create your image. End of story.

Otherwise on the reimaged system go into disk management and reassign the problem drive letters so you have access.
