when starting computer , it says windows 2000 couldnot start because the following file is missing or corrupt
/WINNT/SYSTEM32/CONFIG/SYSTEMced startup option for windows 2000 press F8 when i dp that it does not doing anything

What you are really seeing is actually two messages, one is imposed over the other. The first message you see is a prompt saying "For advanced startup options press F8" the message that is overwriting it says "/WINNT/SYSTEM32/CONFIG/SYSTEM" go on to Microsoft's website and do a search for "systemced" and it will give you instructions on how to fix the problem.
