Hi

I have got an IIS server. I am hosting multiple sites . But the problem is when ever I open any virtually hosted website (host header configured) It displays my default site. I think i have done some misconfiguration in my IIS . Can anybody tell me the steps to follow for configuring multiple sites with single IP on IIS.
Thanks for your help.

In Internet Services Manager, right click on your server name and select New -> Web Site. Put in description then click next. Then you need the host header (www.your-domain.com). If you leave that field blank the site will point to the default site. Click next. Then point to the folder you want to put the site in. usually in C:\Inetpub\YOUR_NEW_FOLDER. Once the site is made I would go back and right click on the new web site in the ISM and go to properties. Click the advanced button next to the IP address and add a second host header. The second host header should be the same as www.your-domian.com except leave out the www. So it would be your-domian.com.

You probably have a fix for this by now but...

Make sure all your web sites configured with a host header use port 80.
