Hi, Hopefully someone can help me.
My computer was giving me trouble of late by stalling after loading up Windows and the Icons appear on the desktop, but then freezes before the Mouse icon appears on the bottom bar next to the Clock.
I reformatted the C drive and re-installed Windows 2K. Now, sometimes it works fine for a while and then it freezes again. Then I had to press the Reset button, but it keeps freezing up while "Trying to start Windows" appears on the screen.
Any ideas what the problem is?
Thanks.

Sounds like a hardware problem. Do you feel comfortable removing the case and checking the internal components?
