I have swapped out power supplies and it does not affect the computer. Whenever I try to do a virus scan (SpyBoy S&D and pcpitstop.com) it crashes at the same point of each program's own scan, every time.
I put in my Win2k cd to reinstall, it crashes at the same point of that program each time also.
Is this a RAM problem now?
I really need some advice with this, Thank you Eric

Eric, it sounds like you have a virus. What antivirus and firewall do you have? Have they been disabled? Do you have your virus recovery disks, or access to download and burn the antivirus to a cd to install in the safe mode.
